Susie Q is excited to annouce that she is going to be a big sister!

Her baby brother was born 1/3/12 in Pennsylvania. This was his birth mother, Miley's, first litter and he has 8 siblings! Miley is a black Newfoundland weighing 152 lbs. His father, Dundee, is a Landseer Newfoundland (black and white) who is 180 lbs.

From day one of his life, Shane and I both fell for what the breeder calls Blue Boy. Here is he at 1 week old.

All the puppies get a colored collar so that she can tell them apart as they grow. She updates her website weekly with weights and pictures which has been so fun for us! She also emails me constantly and has even had 2 two hour phone calls with me. 
Week 2

Blue boy was the biggest with the best bone structure and short muzzle. Each Tuesday we get anxious to see his new photo and weight. 
Week 3

I have been researching this breed for over a decade and corresponded with a few different breeders during that time. This breeder won out bc of my love for Kong, one of her males who is retired, meaning no longer breeds. He is absolutely gorgeous.

Miley is actually Kong's neice so I am so thrilled to have his bloodline in this new baby!
Week 4, where Blue Boy really started to shine!!

Somehow it has worked out that we will be moving into our new home and a week later the new addtion will fly into Pensacola International Airport, March 8th!
Week 5

It took a little coaxing to get Blue Boy's new Daddy to mentally prepare for the size and the hair and the drooling.
Week 6

But after the anticipation of the last 7 weeks, I would say he is as excited as I am and for those of you that know my feelings towards dogs.....that is a big deal!
