Well Ike is 7 months old today. Instead of the usual trip to get weighed, he is making the journey of his lifetime! We received word this morning that Ike's cousin is ready to meet the world. Ike just had his bath and we are packing up to head to South Carolina for the birth of Baby Dhotre!!! We all couldn't be more excited. And yes, of course Susie Q is thrilled, cant you tell?!?

Ike will be 7 months next week.  He is just a big ball of love! Clearly puppy school was a bust, but he does sit (on the 2nd try!)

There really are no words...

Now that Ike is 6 months old, he is allowed to go on longer walks.  We have noticed these are too exhausting for SusieQ so we quit taking her, but could tell she was upset that she got left. So here is the solution and she sat in it like a good girl and enjoyed the walk!

We took our first family getaway to celebrate Ike's 6 months and the 4th of July. It was wonderful! The kids played on the beach all morning. Napped all afternoon, and then Ike went to his first social event, fireworks! He did much better than I could have ever imagined, we were so proud!

To celebrate Ike's 6 month birthday tomorrow, we took him and his sister to Styx River this atfternoon. Ike had a blast swimming!
